Adolphus Hailstork is one the nation’s prominent composers. Represented by Bill Doggett, his music has been celebrated for five decades. For the Inauguration of President Biden and Vice President Harris, his transcription for The President’s Own Marine Band of “Fanfare on Amazing Grace” was the second work by a Black composer in Presidential Inauguration History to be performed. Adolphus Hailstork marks his 80th birthday between 2021 and 2022 bringing forth the world premieres of his George Floyd Requiem Cantata, Tulsa 1921 and Symphony #4
